    Whilst I don't think James Cameron has ever needed or wanted any sympathy, I have always thought that his cry of 'I'm the king of the world!' at the Oscars was misunderstood. I took it as a shout of joy, rather like Leo's character in Titanic than a boast.

    Anyway – at the moment Avatar looks like The Abyss meets Aliens, so we'll see if Cameron has anything new to offer.
