Very excited about this film after hearing yours and a number of other positive reviews. Problem is, being a small film in a sea of summer blockbusters, I'm wondering when it'll be playing near me. Knowing my luck it'll play as a one off special I can't make!

I thought this movie was “OK” – I didn't love it. About midway through I thought the movie was a combination of “Solaris” & “2001″.

Jett mentioned Rod Serling at the end, and after the movie that's exactly who I thought of – that “Moon” could have easily been a Twilight Zone episode in the 60's.

I just watched this on DVD this week and really enjoyed it. I can't listen to TFT review right now because of internet restrictions at work (but will listen later when I get home).

I was interested in Moon since seeing a trailer over the summer. I'm a sucker for SciFi and this film seems to come right out of the genre of short science fiction stories that I grew up on. I think Rockwell gave us a fantastic performance as both versions of Sam Bell. The lonely and crumbling three-year stint Sam (Sam3) and his younger/stronger/angrier just awakened doppelganger.

I was fascinated by the dynamic between these two characters, but the key moment in the film was during Sam3's phone call to home when he discovers his wife has long since passed away but the “original” Sam is alive and well, living with his daughter on Earth. The interwoven since of betrayal and heartbreak in this scene is beyond compare.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts, guys. Keep up the good work!
