TFT+ Not saying I want my $1 back guys, but..focus! Might I suggest that you use the TFT+ shows to do some retrospective film reviews, something you've dicsussed doing in the past?

    Still enjoyed your ramblings though.

Oh and what's the news with the AI commentary?

    Give me my dollar back

  • 7 Tom // Jun 9, 2009 at 11:55 am

No – I don't want my money back. Considering I've listened to all 60 odd shows you've done for free so far I'd consider that very good value for money!

And don't be discouraged, I was just thinking perhaps you should prepare a little more for the + shows.

You keep mentioning the credit situation and getting me worried – is there a real possibility you won't be able to carry on with TFT? Heaven forbid!

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the original Terminator as B-grade action/horror, Jett. You beloved Andrei Tarkovsky praised it — “its vision of the future and the relation between man and its destiny is pushing the frontier of cinema as an art.” However, I certainly agree with you that the more money Cameron made, the less creative and daring he became.

Hi Duncan, think there's a misunderstanding here – i don't think i dismissed THE TERMINATOR = i think it's one of the most important and vital films of the 80's.

  • 13 Duncan // Feb 27, 2010 at 6:28 am

Really? Oh, sorry mate; must have misinterpreted…

  • 14 Jett Loe // Feb 27, 2010 at 2:06 pm

oh no prob – maybe i wasn't clear enough on just how great the original TERMINATOR was! ;)

I just love it! It's been in my top 5 since the day I saw it. It's a shame it gets overshadowed by the “action-filled, adrenaline-fueled”, but ultimately silly Judgement Day. It wasn't until Mann's Collateral that I got to experience The Terminator's true sequel.

Also, Jett, did you ever get a chance to check out my new website? http://slamdunkstudios.webs.com/
