Well, I've put Journey on my film list (having more than a passing interest in sci-fi) so it's only fair that you check out Sneakers. It has admittedly been a while since I saw it, but I never did see Legal Eagles so I'm certainly not confusing the two!

Sneakers is a thriller in the very lightest sense, a caper flick, but I just remember enjoying the characters. Hope you enjoy, despite your reservations.
  • Ok, it's a deal - I'll watch Sneakers and you'll see Journey to the Far Side of the Sun! We shall see who is the victor, my friend! ;)

(I have no idea what that means - I'm sure Sneakers is a light romp - as for Journey...well, it's got a lot of scale models).

So.. The Last Wave, Winter Kills, Journey to the far side of the Sun..how come I've never heard of these films until now?

Sure, there are going to be thousands of poor movies out there that I've never heard of, but what bothers me is when there are great films that I've missed completely! Didn't think I was living under a rock. So Jett, Gareth, folks..what other forgotten gems have passed me by?

I think it's a great shame when some really great, or at least decent films get lost in time. Perhaps not the best example, but the first that springs to mind, is Sneakers - I thought it was a great film, but I never hear anyone talk about it anymore.
