  • Just listened to this the other day. The intro had me cracking up on the train ride into work. Made my day...

Good show. Be interesting to hear a female perspective on Quantum. My wife and her friend enjoyed Casino but were unmoved by Quantum. Any comment from the ladies out there?

Your explanation of the reason for the frenetic and confusing action has me almost convinced Jett, think I'll reserve judgement for a second viewing. These sequences are often easier to follow on a smaller screen anyway.

Having said that, I throughly enjoyed the film and can't wait to see it back to back with Casino.
  • Re: almost convinced...the thing is as a filmgoer the action in Casino is far more pleasurable than QOS - in that sense it's a failure, unless as described in the ep, the film is about the denial of pleasure (just a rationalization for poor filmmaking?

Dangit... just listened to last week's episode today (we weren't allowed on iTunes for about a week) and heard that Jett needed someone to see Quantum with... I now have no one to go see it with. O, the humanity!

To top it all off, I f-ing missed the Stanley Kubrick "Fear and Desire" showing. Life sucks.
