it's awful.
look, maaaybe it coulda worked (not having any context of the movie that surrounds that scene) if they had done it as a instrumental, string heavy piece, subtly in the background...but, regardless, none of that at all works in my head for a thriller...
P.S. i like crash, as convoluted and implausible as it maybe as a story, it had it's surprises and if a movie can still surprise me, it gets a note in my head
i will close with my new favorite phrase:

Watching that scene, it does seem the music doesn't quite jive with the scene/shots....but in fairness, I haven't seen the movie and don't know what led up to this moment, so I can't really say. I love that song, however.
How about 'Matlock' in French? Even better, I'd love to see Andy Griffith delivering his lines in French with a heavy southern accent.

And not related to anything, but I like to think Ponylander's "font" is from his favorite movie character, "Ponyboy Curtis" and his favorite movie, "Zoolander"....just because it amuses me....
