Oh no. Am shocked and saddened.
Anthony Minghella was one of the ‘real ones’.
He was one of the guys who really ‘got it’ – how to make big films – in an old-fashioned studio sense of an ‘A’ picture – a big film for Adults .
A loss.

i know – and so young – and i have to say i thought the ripley film really got under the skin of lonely neurosis…
