I wish Sunshine could have been more abstract - for me it was too much of a B-movie, (without a real B-movie's sense of fun and the frission of the unexpected) - it would have made a great art film - perhaps someone should do a 'mash-up' of it - re-edit and re-dub it to concentrate on the visual and sound design and cut out the silly plot elements. Actually, I thought it was a good and intense visual metaphor for the global warming apocalyptic vibe that the world is experiencing right now. Sure, the slasher thing is predictable, but who cares.
